Microsoft Dynamics Finance Functional Analyst

Microsoft Dynamics Finance Functional Analyst with proven experience on the full capability of Microsoft Dynamics application with emphasis on General Ledger, Purchasing and Contract Management, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Budgeting and Grant Accounting to work with multiple teams composed of technical and business analysts to provide support and lead team to utilization of Microsoft Dynamics to its full capacity. 

Individual must be well versed in functional aspects of various Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules with insight into technical aspects. 

Individual must be able to define requirements based on current functionality and SME knowledge, as well as be able to map requirements to test scripts and validate not only documented requirements but validate current functionality against identified business processes and test scenarios. Expertise in working closely with technical resources to map functional design to technical design is required. 

Qualifications: 

Training and/or Education: 

BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems or other closely related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. 

Required Experience: 

• Combined minimum of five (5) years of operational and implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (AX2012 and/or D365). 

• Eight (8) plus years proven ERP system implementation experience 

• Two (2) plus years full Microsoft Dynamics Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementations 

• Worked as Financials Functional Lead two (2) plus years implementing and/or upgrading projects. 

• A minimum of eight (8) years working in a functional/business analyst role supporting financial systems. 

• Experience with workflow approval configuration and processing 

• Proven experience developing KPI based reports. 

• Proven experience configuring Financial statements. 

 

Nice to Have: 

• Experience working with a Transit agency 

 

Licenses or Certificates:

Senior System Administrator  

Job Summary: 

The Senior System Administrator will be at the forefront of deploying new technologies at Hampton Roads Transit (HRT). Day to day duties shall include maintaining of current systems, including Active Directory, VMware, SCCM and Remote Access/RDS. The Senior System Administrator shall take an active role in architecting and implementing enterprise wide solutions and advising on escalations from other team members. The Senior System Admin shall also participate on the Change Advisory Board and ensure all changes are well planned and executed, communicated, and have a rollback plan. Assist in the development and improvement of HRT information technology services. 

Qualifications: 

Training and/or Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems or a related field. 

 

Required Experience: 

Ten (10) plus years of IT experience with five (5) years of system administration supporting Windows in network environment. Experience with networking protocols, particularly TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS; knowledge of server hardware and troubleshooting skills are essential; knowledge of data storage systems and virtualization is desirable; experience in server backup technologies; worked in an environment that utilized Change Management and other ITIL concepts; Unix, Linux and Cisco experience is a plus; cloud services such as: Office 365, Amazon, Microsoft Azure, VMware cloud; and networking experience including: IP addressing, NAT, VLAN and troubleshooting.

MCSE 2008 (or newer preferred) 

PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst 

Job Summary: 

PeopleSoft Functional Human Resources Analyst with proven experience on the capability of PeopleSoft HCM application with emphasis on Human Resources, Recruiting, Benefits Administration and Time and Labor to work with multiple teams composed of technical and business analysts to provide support and lead functional team in upgrade of HCM application. Provide on-going functional support to end user community to support Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) in usage of PeopleSoft HCM application to its full capability. 

Individual must be well versed in functional aspects of PeopleSoft HCM modules with insight into technical aspects. 

Individual must be able to define requirements based on current functionality and SME knowledge, as well as be able to map requirements to test scripts and validate not only documented requirements but validate current functionality against identified business processes and test scenarios. Expertise in working closely with technical resources to map functional design to technical design is required 

Qualifications: 

Training and/or Education: 

BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems or closely related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. 

 

Required Experience: 

• Combined minimum of seven (7) years of operational experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM versions 8.9 through 9.2. 

• Six (6) plus years proven ERP system implementation/upgrade experience. 

• Two (2) plus years full PeopleSoft HCM Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementations 

• Worked as HR Functional Lead two (2) plus years implementing and/or upgrading projects. Nice to Have: 

• Experience using Oracle User Productivity Kit. 

• Experience working with a Transit agency. 

• Public Sector experience.

Senior Cloud Engineer 

Job Summary: 

The role of a Senior Cloud Engineer is to serve as a technical lead in designing, deploying, and supporting workloads and services throughout their entire lifecycle, including feasibility assessment, cost calculations, initial provisioning, deployment, testing, production cutover, and ongoing support leveraging Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service solutions. Establish and maintain connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud systems, deliver hybrid configuration environments as needed. Maintain cyber security awareness, support cloud cyber security mechanisms, respond to cyber security incidents in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide troubleshooting expertise to address outages and service degradations. Design and maintain consistent end-user experience across all computing platforms. Promote standards driven engineering, support process improvement initiatives 

Qualifications: 

Training and/or Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education. 

Possess one of the following certifications: Engineer level certification for Azure and AWS. 

Required Experience: 

Five (5) years working with Cloud technologies support with three (3) years at Engineering/Lead level

Applications Security Engineer 

Job Summary: 

The Applications Security Engineer functions to provide detailed analysis of development and COTS solutions web and client/server application security. The Application Security Engineer serves the needs of the agency by validating security controls and technical approaches for application security. 

Additionally, Application Security Engineer shall assess the existing controls and recommend new solutions and policies to improve agency’s security posture, act as a security subject matter expert on all projects and initiatives, and work to improve the end user cybersecurity awareness. 

Requirements: 

Functional Abilities, Knowledge and Skills

Technology Project Manager 

Job Summary: 

The Technology Project Manager manages technology projects sponsored by Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) The position will provide technical leadership and guidance on Technology projects that may involve multiple partners including HRT staff, local planning agencies, industry partners and vendors. The selected candidate will complete project deliverables and submit proposals for current and future technology projects. 

Qualifications: 

Training and/or Education: 

B.S. in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Civil/Transportation Engineering, or Related Field. 

 

Required Experience: 

Preferred four (4) or more years’ experience in managing Technology projects and ITS applications with at least two (2) year technology support and administrative capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 

 

Licenses or Certificates: 

• Virginia Driver’s License 

• PMP or equivalent desired 

IT Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Analyst 

Job Summary: 

The Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) IT Governance Risk Compliance Analyst functions to guide maintain and ensure compliance of IT policies procedures, governance structure, and regulatory requirements. As Subject matter expert for guiding the development of IT risk management, governance, and compliance programs the GRC analyst functions to develop and aid adoption and enforcement of IT processes and procedures across the agency. 

Requirements: 

Functional Abilities Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency with GRC systems 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office products 

 

Training and/or Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Risk Management, or related field. 

 

Experience: 

• One (1) to two (2) Years Working in an IT operational capacity. 

• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years in IT Audit, Risk Management, and Governance required. 

 

Preferred Experience: 

• Three (3) to five (5) years working in an IT Operational Capacity. 

• Cross domain IT experience. 

• CISA, and other IT Audit and Risk Management certifications preferred.
